Writing

My Daily Writing
Though today's prompt is kind of easy
But to write one, I'm kind of lazy.
It's the 19th day of writing non-stop
In this poetic challenge called the Dew Drop.

It's easy to get silly at times,
But it's hard to write silly poem that rhymes
This might sound a little offbeat
But I don't want to leave a day incomplete.

There are times I sometime lost the tone
Good thing I have this worthy rhyme zone
That comes in handy every time I write
And so, I could keep up the fight.

This endeavor isn't easy, that we all know
A poem a day, a day in a row
But this is something I can not ignore
Something great that I've never done before.

I'd like to thank Miss Katya, the host
With her brilliant prompt in every post
Always bring excitement to come up with something
And I learn more from my daily writing.

Love or Lust
Content Rating: 18+

At first, I thought it was all just a fling
But my stomach grows butterflies inside
My heart beats like cymbals, I can not hide
It merrily dances, joyfully sings.
Pouncing terrifically with much zing
The feel of breeze - glissading on a slide
Feel of zest on a roller coaster ride
As you sway gently while I ride the swing.

A feeling every time I see your face
I'm yearning to touch and kiss on your lips
Your manly beauty comes with so much grace
You've gotten David's proportionate hip
Your bounty chest and your masculine waist
Love or lust, but I dream to see you strip.

Luck

Bestow Me Some Luck
Lucky is the lark.
Finally freed from its cage.
Free like other birds.

Lucky is the sheep.
Finally found its way back.
To the grazing herds.

Lucky are the birds.
Celebrating their freedom.
Together they fly.

I wish that same luck
Be bestowed to me just once.
I can fin'lly die.

'Cause to die free and in bliss,
Better than dying unmissed.

Tree Stump

Glorious Days of the Stump

A tree stump lay lifeless along the field.
Worthlessly sitting there while being concealed

And swallowed up slowly by the mead.
A lump on the ground that no one needs.

Dare not say, "because you never know."
The great things this stump can do.

At noon, a weary farmer from his quest.
Sat down and placed his temple to rest.

Uproot this lump and bring it to your lawn
Then a cold sparkling wine will rest upon.

Perhaps a spot for your favorite succulents?
Or a perfect table for your birthday presents?

If you cut it into thicker slates, it's guaranteed.
You'll have a board for your cutting needs.

If you want some artwork for your wall
Have it polished, add flowerettes, then install.

But if you just want it to retire
It's the perfect wood for a night's campfire.

Prompt: Ordinary object(s)—explore the usual or unusual uses of ordinary objects

Spring Fairy

Springtime in the Tropics
Every day is springtime in the tropics.
Flowers bloom not just in the month of May
Perhaps the deities sprinkled some magic
To please the gods with the grandest display

Of vibrant pansies bloom with myriad hues
As the breeze strums each blazing daffodil,
Dandelion dances with each rhythmic cue.
Accompanied by the sound of blue bells.

Of verdant plated prairies and meadows
Perfectly complements the azure sky.
Where the towering trees cast their shadows,
Granting soothing pleasures to passersby.

Springtime is present all throughout the year.
Perks of being in the midst of the sphere.
